Scholarships
The Butler Memorial Foundation will again be offering part-scholarships to eligible students in 2009. Together with deferrals these scholarships can range from $250.00 to in excess of $5000.00 to a combined total value in excess of $25,000.00.
The awarding of scholarships is based on potential, character and need and not necessarily on past academic prowess. All students who attend an interview are eligible to apply and any wishing to do so should request scholarship details at the interview.
Fee Help & Other Allowances
Students may apply for a proportion of their repayments to be deferred until studies have been completed. Conditions apply and further information may be obtained at the interview. A personal finance plan for individual families may be applied for as well, ranging from a concession for advance payments to a deferred finance plan payable over 2 to 5 years commencing from $200.00 per month or less. Please enquire at the interview for further information. (conditions apply)
An internal arrangement also exists whereby certain deserving students may apply through the Butler Foundation for a “living allowance”. Interested students should request further information at the interview.
